Planning 911

I am a perennial planner. There...I said it out loud. Admission is the first step. I plan, pre-plan, think about planning. Then suddenly I realize I've overplanned and find myself overwhelmed. That is today. I've got too much homeschool info crammed into my brain...curriculum choices, scheduling, when to start the school year. Oh yeah...and what to do with a very independent, strong-willed 2.5 year old. But that's another post altogether.

So I figure I just need to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and get this stuff out of my head (and the dozen or so spreadsheets that I've started, then ditched) and out there for all my avid readers--all 3 of you--to see. This is the official debut of Evergreen Eclectic Academy's 2007-2008 Schedule...

~ Language Arts - First Language Lessons; Spell to Write & Read
~ History - Story of the World I
~ Science - LLB Life Science 1 combined with lesson plans from Trivium Academy
~ Spanish - ¡El Español Facil! Level 1
~ Co-op - Art, Musical Theatre, Gymnastics
~ Daily independent reading & read-alouds
~ Copywork, narration, memorization

That's the plan. Since this is our first year to homeschool, I reserve the right to tweak as necessary. :)
